Yegor Zabelov

Yegor Zabelov - one of the most original accordionist in modern Belarusian music, a composer, an author of music for theatrical performances and movies. He founded duo “Gurzuf” which played in the super final of the live music competition “The Global Battle of the Bands” in London (2007), received an honorary Sergei Kuryokhin Prize for Contemporary Art (St.Petersburg, 2010), has played more than 400 concerts in European clubs and festival venues. Fusion Festival (Berlin, 2010), Vienna Accordion Festival (2010,2012), B-Sides (Switzerland, 2010), United Islands of Prague 2016, Moers Jazz Festival (Germany, 2017), Akkordeon Akut Festival (Germany, 2017) etc.) His music can be described as an experimental mix of accordion rock, avant-garde jazz and neo-classical music.
